Don Reutemann

Don brings over 25 years of small business ownership and management to his financial planning practice. He knows, first hand, the concerns of small business owners as well as retirement planning concerns of individuals. He specializes in Qualified Retirement Plans, asset management and preservation, estate planning strategies as well as retirement distribution and business succession planning.

He is a Board member (President 2012-2019) of the Financial Planning Association of Northeastern New York, as well as a member of the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York.

Community involvement includes current or past Chairman of the Board of LaSalle Institute, Northeastern Association of the Blind, Albany Executives Association and the Colonie Chamber of Commerce. Don has been a certified ski instructor for the blind and individuals with other disabilities.

An accomplished speaker, Don has been a program speaker at the Financial Planning Association Annual National convention several times.

Don is a graduate of the University of Colorado, magna cum laude in psychology. He is active in skiing and golf. He resides in Latham, NY with his wife Betsy (a retired elementary school teacher). They have two adult sons, Will and Charlie.
